iPad review, Tesco raises its game & Insurance2go facebook page launches

The iPad was given a pretty good review by the more serious one on the last night’s Gadget Show. He compared it against 2 other devices one of which was rubbish and the other a good laptop. The trouble with the iPad is that no flash and limited ipad keyboards attachments on e-mail means it can’t full take the place of a laptop for a business man or woman. In terms of viewing the screen for games and video it seems excellent but falls down if you want to do serious work. He also commented on the fact that the writing application  iphone 4 case was very basic and didn’t even include a word count. sourcinggate  is bracing itself for the launch of the iPad in the UK in May, our newly launched laptop insurance policies cover the iPad along with other laptops ipad dock and netbooks. As previously reported on this blog other manufacturers are racing to bring out their version of a tablet pc. Look for models out later on in the summer which includes flash and a silly bandz better office package. One company who will be looking to shift loads and loads of iPads will be Best Buy, the American electrical retail giant, who enjoy a market share of 21% in its homeland of the States, is opening its first store in Thurrock this coming Friday. The opening is the first of a several openings happening soon, Southampton, Liverpool and  ipad charger Merry Hill in the West Midlands. Tesco, who announced their annual figures this morning, are looking to meet this new competition head on by extending their non food retail services, especially in electrical retail. They will look to employ 1,000 extra people in their electrical departments. The UK electrical market is worth £17.4bn annually and as a result other players have not sat back and waited for Best Buy to open. Asda has set itself the target of overtaking Tesco in the area of non food retail and Currys and PC World have been investing in better looking stores and better training of employees. There will no doubt be a real buzz around the launch if Best Buy, keep your eyes peeled. Here at sourcinggate we are looking for customers to join our new Facebook page and those who do will be entered into a draw to win gpad £100 worth of Marks and Spencer vouchers, it is an exciting development that we have been keen to sort out. sourcinggate has recently added laptop insurance to its product profile which consisted of MP3 insurance, Sat Nav insurance and mobile phone insurance, we will use the page to keep customers up to date with developments and run further competitions.
